Pre-Interview Challenge for Executives

Hiring a senior executive is the toughest challenge for top management, with ever-increasing, long-term, and frequently irreversible implications. And it will become ever more complex and critical in the coming years. It is an interesting paradox that the higher the level of manager, the greater the risk of the hire. Mistakes may have huge consequences - positive or negative. While the difference in output between a top and bottom entry level employee may be as high as 200 percent, the difference for senior managers is considerably higher (Hunter, Schmidt & Judiesch, 1990).

Infinet has overcome numerous hurdles to create a test battery that predicts with great accuracy those most adept at managing other people.

The battery of test looks at:

- ability to manage one's own emotions
- team work
- emotional intelligence
- ability to get along with shareholders, clients and staff
- ethics
- flexibility of thought and more.

From these areas, Infinet uses its' proprietary scoring and profiling to arrive at a recommendation for each applicant. The recommendation will be on a 100-point scale with test takers scoring in the top percentiles being most desirable. The test reduces turnover, improves productivity, and improves morale among staff by identifying managers that treat others with respect.
